A student should be able to think of a good topic on their own without reading a book. He/she should be able to draw on his/her own experiences to express themselves in an interesting way.The average student who wants to be successful should be able to write well about all the topics that are assigned for him/her to write on. This is not to say that the assignments are too easy but if the student works hard, they will do well.
